The Ultimate Band List

The Ultimate Band List is a great resource for just about any band that exists. I used to use it to link to ftp sites for guitar tablature. However, the huge guitar tablature archive that used to exist at nevada.edu (OLGA -- The Online Guitar Archive) was shut down. Now the problem is that there is no one officially updating any guitar tablature archives. If anyone has heard of a guitar tablature archive that is actually being officially maintained and updated right now, PLEASE tell me about it. The latest I have seen about OLGA is at the OLGA Home Page. There are periodic updates of tablature files here.

Downloadable sound files

Most of these require some sort of .WAV or .MID player on your computer. Great for adding sounds to your computer's repertoire.
